A large, handmade ceramic bowl with a sculptural, deconstructed edge—three sections are notched inward, giving it a fragmented, contemporary look. The interior and exterior are intricately patterned with flowing, mosaic-like designs in shades of cream, grey, and soft taupe. Wavy lines and tile-like shapes create a sense of movement, resembling a topographical map or woven fabric. The matte finish gives it an earthy, organic presence.

Artist Notes: This smoke-fired Nerikomi porcelain vessel is made by layering and slicing coloured clay to form patterns through the body. The piece is slab-built, sanded, and biscuit fired to 1046°C.
