Our partnership with the fantastic Artists Open Houses continues in 2024, thanks to the kindness of AOH artists and the festival team. Exciting news for this year – we have a new partner – Cardinal Newman School – proudly hosting our first Open House!
On display you can expect a superb range of art spanning acrylic or oil on canvas to affordable prints of original art, sculpture, photography, jewellery and fashion accessories, from local artists, fine art students from Brighton MET and the Cardinal Newman Arts Ambassadors.

The online art auction opens on 1st May, with in-person exhibits (a superb range of art kindly donated by AOH artists, Brighton MET Fine Art students and Cardinal Newman Arts Ambassadors) on display at Cardinal Newman’s BEACH every Saturday and Sunday throughout the May AOH Festival. It’s open from 10am to 5pm with convenient onsite parking, delicious cake and plentiful art inspiration!
Where: BEACH – Business, Enterprise & Careers Hub, Cardinal Newman Catholic School and Sixth Form College, The Upper Drive, Hove BN3 6ND
When: Every Saturday and Sunday in May, open 10am till 5pm.
Access: Parking is available via the main school entrance. The BEACH entrance is located at the middle gate between the school and college gates.
How: Buyers can purchase in-person or online, with a hassle-free system that enables people to bag their favourite artwork immediately by paying the asking price, or making and offer and waiting it out! All proceeds go towards our work ensuring that young people experiencing homelessness in Brighton & Hove can sleep safe.
If you’re an artist – please get involved
- Support a great local charity and the only service in Brighton offering same day accommodation in a safe setting to young people experiencing homelessness.
- Showcase your work online and at Cardinal Newman School. A private view at the start of AOH will bring together supporters of the charity and school, the media and artists involved. A larger audience, capturing friends and family of the 2,500 pupils at Cardinal Newman will attend the Open House, along with business supporters and the AOH community.
